Manchester United are “weighing up their options” as to whether they should let West Ham target leave this Summer.

While the transfer window is well and truly underway, it’s been a fairly quiet start to the Summer for most clubs. From a West Ham perspective, it’s been slightly disappointing considering how many signings they need.

The only additions have been Luis Guilherme who, while being an unbelievable prospect, no one’s really sure how much football he will play next season and Wes Foderingham who will ideally play no minutes as 3rd choice keeper.

With Ben Johnson departing though, the club have now added a right-back to their long list of signings needed. According to the Metro, the Hammers could look to acquire the services of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Red Devils signed him back in 2019 for £50 million and, while he has been decent, he’s not really proved to be worth his price tag. With just a year remaining on his contract though, their left with a dilemma: sell him to get something for his departure but have to sign a replacement or lose him on a free in 12 months and have to bring someone in then.

United’s owners are “weighing up their options” but if our Irons came in with the right bid it’s hard to imagine they’d turn it down. If they don’t demand a ridiculous amount like they tend to, he could end up being an excellent option at right-back.
